Join us on August 29th in the picturesque Golden Gate Park as the Uzbek California Cultural Center (UCCC) hosts an exhilarating celebration in honor of Uzbekistan's Independence Day. This grand event, under the open Californian sky, will pay tribute to Uzbekistan's freedom, culture, and its deep-rooted traditions.

We are thrilled to announce that we will be joined by distinguished guests from Uzbekistan for this celebration: Botir Qodirov, Zokir Ochildiev, and Hosila Rakhimova. Their presence will provide an unparalleled authenticity to our event, enriching it with their knowledge, talent, and passion for Uzbek culture.

Renowned singer Botir Qodirov will mesmerize you with his powerful voice and engaging performance, while the talented comedian Zokir Ochildiev will leave you with a smile, showcasing the delightful humor of Uzbekistan. The enchanting Hosila Rakhimova, with her beautiful renditions of popular Uzbek songs, will certainly touch your heart.

Our celebration also features traditional Uzbek dance and music performances, providing an insight into the country's vibrant artistic heritage. Alongside these performances, guests will have the opportunity to savor the flavors of Uzbek cuisine, from plov to manti and traditional desserts, each dish prepared to perfection and served with the renowned Uzbek hospitality.

An art exhibition will showcase the depth of Uzbek craftsmanship, offering a closer look at ceramics, Suzani embroidery, and intricate wood carvings. For our youngest guests, a 'Children's Corner' will offer engaging activities like storytelling, traditional games, and crafts.

Our Uzbek Independence Day Celebration aims to provide a platform for cultural exchange, fostering understanding, respect, and friendship between Californians and the Uzbek community. We invite everyone to be a part of this vibrant celebration, marking not just the independence of a nation, but the resilience, pride, and rich heritage of its people.

So, mark your calendars and join us at the Golden Gate Park on August 29th. Let's come together to commemorate and explore the captivating Uzbek culture and celebrate the diversity that binds us all.
